We are in need of God's mercy in our country with all the dry lands and the heat index reaching the 90s all through the South & Mid section reaching way up into the Northern lands. We need God to protect us from the wild fires that are destroying New Mexico right now. We don't need them to spread. Psalm 41:1-3 promises God will be merciful to those who consider the poor. We need to stop bickering about debt ceilings, and higher taxes right now because of this global emergency in Africa.
