Rescuing the poorest of the poor is the path to God's blessings! One of those blessings being that of Protection and deliverance. We must give according to the measure in which we need God to move on our behalf. That is only when the breakthrough comes. If we don't give till it hurts then we may not have reached that breakthrough point to get the Spirit of the Lord to move on our behalf. It is called Baal Perazim in the bible. It is the point to which God's people broke through the enemies defense!
So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, "As waters break out, the LORD has broken out against my enemies before me." So that place was called Baal Perazim.
Sometimes, giving isn't enough. That may be all the more true for someone whose money is no object. That is when actions of heart felt deeds or fasting or some other thing directed by God may be the key to a miracle. Use the tools that God has given you to get the victory in your life. Prayer is also a powerful tool. And no fasting should be done without it if they are a Christian.
